The Oil States QCS QualiTee is a pipeline fitting that allows the operator to connect two pipelines without shutting down the line. Fittings are available for both structural and non-structural applications.
Inboard collet-style grips ensure firm gripping of the pipe during installation. The grips are pinned to the inner body to prevent dislodging during installation. Units from 8″ to 24″ are typically in stock for fast turnaround.
The Oil States Leak Repair Clamp (LRC) is a split-sleeve, clamp-style fitting designed to encapsulate and seal off localized pipeline leaks. This robust clamp comes in structural and non-structural designs and is the preferred method for permanently repairing pinhole and crack-type pipeline leaks.
Hydraulic cylinders are used to assist with the open/close functions. Quick installation design makes use of hydraulic stud tensioners to tighten the body and seal bolts for a permanent, environmentally safe repair.
The Oil States Griplock™ Connector (GLC) is a mechanical pipe end connector used for pipeline repairs, reroutes and abandonment projects. The GLC utilizes collet grips that mechanically attach to a pipe and create a permanent, structural flanged end on the pipe.
The GripLock™ uses standard, dual-barrier Viton seals to deliver long-term integrity and comes equipped with a test port to verify the annulus seal. Fast, reliable “single-set” design actuates grips and seals simultaneously.
The Oil States TapAble Flange is a cost-effective, pressure- containing alternative to a subsea valve tie-in. The flange reduces the cost of fabrication time associated with a typical subsea valve assembly. When ready for the lateral tie-in, a hot-tap machine is installed to tap out the flange blank.
The flange is machined from a single, A694 forging, which eliminates welding issues and possible project-specific C.E. requirements associated with cast flanges.
The Oil States Pressure Balanced Safety Joint (PBSJ) is a safety fitting designed to separate at a preset axial load independent of pipeline pressure. The fitting is used to prevent damage to platforms, tanker-loading operations, subsea production systems or lateral tie-ins where anchor dragging, mudslides, iceberg scouring or other force may cause damage.
Tension load is transferred through the PBSJ fitting via shear pins. When an external force exceeds the shear pin rating, the PBSJ separates, preventing damage to your equipment. Upstream and downstream check valves prevent further product loss upon separation. A split retainer prevents premature separation during installation. A separated PBSJ can be refurbished by an Oil States technician.
The Oil States Swivel Ring Flange (SRF) is the most commonly used flange for shallow water pipeline repairs. The SRF allows the diver to line up bolt holes with the mating weld neck flange. This significantly reduces the time needed to complete the repair operation.
The SRF utilizes a spring steel retainer ring to capture the rotating flange component of the connector, thus eliminating welded retainers and permitting the removal of the retainer ring. This also makes it possible to clean and lubricate the swivel ring interface between the hub and flange after fabrication and coating to ensure easy rotation during installation
The Oil States FlangeMate Misalignment Connector is a highly engineered product that facilitates the connection of flanged tie-ins for underwater pipelines. The FlangeMate allows for 10 degrees of angular misalignment (20° total misalignment), bolt-hole alignment and metal-to-metal sealing. Metal-to-metal sealing is repeatable and can be verified via an annulus test port.
The Oil States Radial Flow Tee (RFT) is a specialized fitting that facilitates passage of pipeline pigs past tee connections where flow bypass often leaves pigs stranded, without restricting product flow.
The RFT has an inner sleeve that directs the pig through the main line past the branch. Perforated holes in the sleeve and annular cavity provide a flow area at least equal to the flow area of the branch line, permitting full product flow through the tee during normal operation.
The Oil States Intervention Wye Fitting provides access to a riser or flowline for coiled tubing or wireline intervention without interrupting flow, yet it allows bi-directional pigging at all other times. With the diverter in place, the fitting’s 5D main bore facilitates passage on any type pig in either direction.
In the event of hydrate formation or other flow assurance problems requiring intervention, the diverter plug is removed. Even with the flowline in service, the coiled tubing or wireline can be inserted through the intervention branch for access to clear the blockage. The fitting is manufactured from a forged body and operated via ROV or diver interface.
